If you have never tried ceramics before, this workshop is perfect as a first contact with ceramics.

It lasts 2.5 hours, during which I will guide you step by step to make the piece of your choice using different hand building techniques. You will create the piece first and, then, you will decorate it with engobes (ceramic colours). You can choose one of the following options:

• Aperitivo set (2 pieces)
• Sushi set (2 trays and 2 sauce dishes)
• Serving board

The price of the workshop includes the 2.5 hours lesson, all the materials, the two firings that the piece will need to be usable, something to drink and some snacks. After the workshop, I will fire and glaze the pieces, and I will let you know when you can pick them up (approx. 4 weeks after the date of the workshop).

The workshops take place in my Atelier, in Lepanto 388, ent. 1, Barcelona city. The groups are of a max. of 6 people, so it is a small group and I can guide you personally through all the steps of the process.

GENERAL CONDITIONS OF THE WORKSHOPS

• By registering for one of my workshops, you accept the following conditions:
  The price of the workshop includes the 2.5 or 3 hours of class (depending on the type of workshop), all the necessary materials and tools, the use of an apron, the two firings necessary for the piece to be usable, something to drink and some snacks.
  The minimum number of participants for a workshop is 4 people. If this minimum is not reached, I reserve the right to cancel the workshop and refund the amount paid.
• Once you have registered for a workshop, cancellations will only be accepted at least 1 week before the date of the workshop. If the cancellation is made less than 4 days before the workshop, you will be entitled to a 50% refund of the amount paid. Any cancellation made less than 4 days before the workshop will not be refunded. Of course, if you are unable to attend, you can give your place to anyone you know.
• Once you have booked a workshop, you will not be able to change the dates or the piece to be made in the chosen workshop (if it is a monographic workshop in which all participants make the same piece), unless it is agreed among all the participants.
• Once the workshop is finished, I will fire and glaze the pieces, and I will let you know when you can pick up the finished piece (within 4 to 6 weeks from the date of the workshop).
• You will have 5 weeks to pick up your piece from the date I email you that it is ready. I cannot keep the pieces beyond that time, my workshop is tiny and I need the space.
• I cannot be held responsible for breakage of pieces once the workshop is finished, ceramics processes are complex and there are many things that can go wrong and are beyond my control (e.g. cracks in the pieces, deformations, etc.).
• I am also not responsible for the belongings of the workshop participants during the workshop.
• Although I have no objection to you reproducing the design of any of my pieces during a workshop, remember that this is only permitted when the pieces are for personal use and never for commercial purposes, as my designs are brand assets and I own their intellectual property. In the event that you share photos of these pieces on social networks, I would be grateful if you could always credit that they are inspired by a @texturaceramics design.
